Our Feeding Collection

Thoughtfully designed essentials for everyday mealtimes.
Testing, explained

Standards behind the testing

Our laboratory reports reference recognised food-contact and child-feeding standards. We describe them as testing standards, not certifications.

  • Feeding utensil testing

    EN 14372:2004

Testing includes relevant requirements for cutlery and feeding utensils, covering areas such as migration of certain elements, BPA release, volatile compounds, phthalates, nickel release, formaldehyde release and feeding-utensil safety requirements.

  • Drinking-equipment testing

    EN 14350:2020+A1:2023

Drinking-equipment testing was also carried out against EN 14350:2020+A1:2023. The laboratory report records a Pass, subject to the stated exclusions for clauses 8, 9 and 10.

  • Food-contact requirements

    Food-contact framework

Food-contact testing also references Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 and amendment (EU) 2024/3190 for the areas tested.

EARLY FEEDBACK

What our first testers noticed

Early feedback from people who tried the first Nurtura feeding collection before launch.

QUALITY

The quality was the first thing I noticed. It feels really well finished, and knowing the silicone had been independently tested was reassuring.

SUCTION

The suction worked really well on our table. It stayed in place much better than the bowls we normally use.

EVERYDAY USE

It looks lovely enough to leave out, but it’s practical too. Everything was straightforward to use and cleaned up quickly afterwards.
